About This Project

Located in the centre of Limassol, at a corner plot, the building offers different plan layouts, able to adjust to different lifestyles. The apartment building is consisted by 3 floors above ground with a roof garden and barbeque areas developing on the fourth. The ground floor is used for parking spaces, gardens and accessing the building. Volumetrically, the building develops onto layers, where the concrete slabs and the metallic roof garden’s pergola are the architectural elements which underline the horizontal layout. Alucobond panels frame the large windows and advantage visually the horizontality of the main concept.

At the core of the building, the circulation is developed, where corridors lead to the apartments’ entrances. The apartments are designed around these central lobbies. The voids in the communal areas allow visual contact between the floors and furthermore, assist the sunlight which comes from above, to perforate through. The first and second floor accommodate studios, one and two-bedroom flats, while the third floor accommodates the three-bedroom flats.

The orientation of the plot allows to the apartments to maximize passive solar gain and in addition to have ventilation from all directions. The proposal suggests large openings and windows in order to have energy efficiency and openness.
