About This Project

These louvers were designed for the renovation of a small coffee shop. The shop is consisted by the ground floor, where the retail and coffee station is, and also there is the mezzanine. At the mezzanine is the office area which needed the flexibility to gain or block visual contact with the bottom floor. Inspired by classic wooden shutters used for windows, a louvers folding system is designed and suspended from the ceiling. The louvers express the idea of a large window within the space and complete the interior concept design.
