About This Project

The site is located in a dense built neighbourhood in Agios Nikolaos district.The project will be developed in Agios Nikolaos district. A dense neighbourhood in the town center of Limassol. The plot is adjacent to the main road from the south side and attaches to the neighbour building on the east side. The building is consisted by 3 levels, a piloti and a roof garden. The piloti offers parking spaces and entrance to the building. First floor hosts an office area. It includes 3 different office spaces, a conference room, kitchen and restrooms. The other two floors host 2 residential apartments. Each include an open plan living room/kitchen/dining area and have large openings to south and west sides. Additionally, every apartment includes 2 bedrooms which take place at the west and north sides. The roof plan hosts a sitting/dining area, lounge space and barbecue utilities. A pergola is designed to be made from solar panels placed on steel structure, which will be providing sunshade when resting underneath. At the same time solar power gain will contribute to the building’s sustainability. The main feature of the building is the perimetrical continuous vegetation pots which surround each floor and allow the potential of growing vegetation. Accompanied by vertical wire ropes around them, will allow plants to grow and expand on them, creating soon a green skin for the building. This green facade combined with proper ventilation will matter significantly to the natural cooling of the building in warm days.
